The naphtha-based combined power plant at Hyderabad was taken over by My Home Group during 2001 and converted the same into a bio-mass-based non-conventional Power Plant under the name of My Home Power Limited to produce green power thereby reducing the pollution hazard in the city. The plant was successfully run with a wide variety of Bio-mass fuels and was registered with UNFCC for CDM benefits. The plant received carbon credits for 10 years under CDM and received multiple awards. The company thereafter entered power trading by becoming a license holder of CERC and also a member of the Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL).The company is also an active member of the Indian Gas Exchange Limited (IGX). Abja Power Pvt. Ltd. (formerly My Home Power Pvt. Ltd.) was formed in 2016 to widen the spectrum of business activities like raw material trading, solar power, EPC activities, etc. Subsequently, APPL has ventured into a new stream of business i.e. trading of raw materials like imported coal, gypsum etc, and is doing well. APPL is also providing support services for procurement of these raw materials for different end users.
APPL has extensive experience in offering a complete turnkey solution for roof-top, ground mounted on-grid, off grid and hybrid solar power plants. Further, APPL also started undertaking EPC of external electrical works for residential and commercial projects. To diversify its business opportunities, APPL is also undertaking EPC works like Firefighting and STP for Residential and Commercial complexes. In the power segment, APPL is focusing on undertaking turnkey EPC jobs for Cement Plant Waste Heat Recovery Power Plants and has already tied up with major Cement manufacturers.

My Home Power Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (MHPCSPL) was primarily set up to meet the growing needs of Engineering and consultancy requirements in the Indian power sector utilizing the in-house talent of My Home Power Pvt. Ltd. MHPCSPL was formed during 2003 and had already made a name in the Power Sector within a span of 19 years. MHPCSPL has developed proven expertise in coal-based, gas-based and biomass-based power plants along with power system study, HAZOP analysis etc.
The company’s clients include the Nagarjuna Group, NTPC, Orissa Sponge Iron Ltd., Voith Turbo, Wonder Cements, Coromandel Fertilizers (Murugappa Group), FL Smidth etc., apart from the Group companies. The company has entered into service agreements with FL Smidth and has been awarded a prestigious engineering consultancy job for setting up a cement-based waste heat recovery power plant in Nepal and the same has been successfully commissioned.
Recently MHPCSPL has completed a challenging job for an international client providing engineering consultancy services for a gas turbine project in Abu Dhabi and one more Gas Turbine dismantling / re-erection job at abroad has been obtained for another prestigious project. MHPCSPL is also rendering consultancy services for feasibility studies, Energy Management Studies and due-diligence survey and reports for Power Plants, Industries, Residential and Commercial buildings. MHPCSPL has acquired QMS certification as per ISO 9001-2015 from Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd. MHPCSPL is also providing O & M services to thermal, Waste Heat Recovery and Solar Power Plants.
